Do You Really KNow Weight Loss
Weight loss, diet, calories, exercise, fitness...oh my goodness what a struggle it all seems to be. We spend hours upon hours upon hours of trying to stay in shape, maintain our weight and trying to impress. In addition to the hours spent, we spend money on it all as well. But do we ever achieve the desired results? Or should I ask how many of us get to the desired results? Or better yet, are the desired results achieveable? Are we too hard on ourselves? Are our expectations too high? Who knows? We can only answer those questions ourselves. Each and everyone of us must make the committments, the sacrifices and have the willingness to conquer. It really is not that difficult. Sort of a mind over matter approach. I am a firm believer that if you put your mind to it, you will be able to do it, and with relative ease. I am always telling my children, especially when they say they can not do something, that if they put their mind to it, it can be done. Focus, concentrate and believe you can do something...and you will! It is no different in our efforts to lose weight. Put your mind to it, convince your self it can be done, and you will see positive results. Now I am not saying that all you need to do is think weight loss and BAM you lose weight. But an important, very imporatne part of weight loss is focusing your efforts, concentrating on your set goals, and start the momentum. Yes, exercise even just walking needs to be included...there is no couch potatoe approach. Proper eating is required, no binge eating, just well balanced meals. It is much easier then you think when you get yourself on track, beginning with your thought process. Heck, afterall I started to take a supplement, began to walk and ride a bike, and before I knew it I dropped 12 pounds, stop binge eating and have improved my overall eating habits. Yes it can be done! What are you waiting for? |
