Play Mario Games, Mario Video Games

I started to play Mario games back in the late 80’s. I would play untill all hours of the morning. When Mario video games were first released there were thousands upon thousands of people up all night trying to get to the “last level” in the original Mario games. It was not uncommon to stay up past 2 o'clock in the morning playing with eyes wide open. The frustration in the beginning was relentless in my quest to get to the last level. The talk around at work was all about the Mario video games and where, or what “world” you had made it to. The race was on every afternoon, everybody in the family would rush home from work to play Mario games and would lose countless hours of sleep. All Mario games had become the craze with the "in crowd". The release of Mario video games was the beginning of a video game explosion and what has turned into an addiction that has been around now for over 20 years. Imagine, it has been twenty years since the original Mario Bros. game came out. There is no end in sight, as it appears we will play Mario games for the next 20 years as well. It seems as though a new game is released wvery year, and the old ones never grow old. But what is it that makes all Mario games so popular? We list here some of the ost common features that keep us coming back for more. You have to love Mario. Mario is simply a very charming character who is easy to like and easy to be friends with. He is just an ordinary guy like you and I that is pitted against unlikely foes and evil villains that you would think he has no chance against as he relentlessly tries to gain the freedom of an innocent princess. When he captures coins and other trinkets, Mario is not just a plumber when he begins to power up and can slay all the evil characters.
In addition to being a charming character, Mario has quite a wardrobe that no matter what he is wearing it always seems to help him out in a time of need. Whether it is a frog suit or a bee’s suit, the abilities that come with them always seem to help him slay these unwanted or problem characters. We all know and are familiar with Bowser. His goal is to just make Mario’s life difficult and he does just that. Bowser comes armed with a spiked turtle shell, flame breath and a bad attitude, he enjoys making life difficult for Mario. His goal is to kidnap the princess every chance he gets and tries to keep her away from Mario. We all remember, or I should say most Mario fans know the most memorable moment was in the Super Mario 64 when he battled Mario on a swiveling platform, only to be defeated in the end. What makes Mario Bros. so unique is that anybody can play Mario games. Even if you have never picked up a controller, you will find Mario games easy to play. The innocent charm of all Mario games makes them an instant winner with all age groups. Hours upon hours of fun can be had with Super Mario Bros. What would an article be about Mario Bros with out mentioning some od his closest friends. Toad has a mushroom hat and an annoying voice, that some may grow to love, but provides tips to Mario that helps him conquer the bad people. Let us not forget when there was the addition of Yoshi in Super Mario World with his joyful attitude and humongous appetite. All Mario games come with a unique gimmick from riding a teeter-tottering board to a terminator 2-style metal suit, each game has something new that all fans notice immediately. There are always new game play modifications that are always addictive. These additions never ever seem to get old; in fact these additions are now expected in every release of a new Mario Bros. game. All Mario games no matter how old or worn out they appear to be, are still entertaining and enjoyable to play, even if it is only for a few minutes. I still dust off the original Mario Bros. And try to reach that last level. Mario Kart, Mario Baseball or Super Mario Bros, we play they all. Mario games do not take a second seat to any game that has been released over the years. We play Mario games in our house almost weekly because Mario video games just never ever seem to grow old. Get your mario game dusted off today. |
