What Did You Do This Weekend?
Wow...What a beautiful Memorial Day Weekend we had. The weather was awesome, 75 degrees, clear blue skies, no humidity and no rain. We stretched it out till the very end, staying away from home until...now 9:30 eastern time. We decided to take a drive to Atlantic City, NJ. We called the casino we frequent most, got 2 free rooms for the weekend and off we went. We stayed on the marina (Harrah's) where there was a beautful breeze all day long on the sundeck where they have just opened up their new pool. Wow...talk about needing a break! Working 12 hour days, although from home, can be exhausting. You do not realize the break you need until you finally take it. So we played all evening on friday, relaxed on saturday, daytime, and were able to get our hands on tickets to see Eric Clapton on saturday evening. What a show...old slow hand has not missed a beat. It was very cool to kick back and enjoy the show, with a few cocktails and no worries. After the show it was back to the craps table to let the dice roll...and roll they did to the wee hours of the morning. A liitle sleep and then we were off to enjoy the beach with some live music at Trumps on the boardwalk. Again another beautiful day...the kind you never want to have end. But as usual the day ends, the week end is over...and I am already back to work....DUH! So what's up for the 4th of July?
